Winners of the 67th Royal Over-Seas League Competition, Cavatina Intercollegiate Chamber Music Competition 2019 and the St James Chamber Music Competition 2018, the Mithras Trio came together in 2017 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama. They were selected as Kirckman Concert Society Young Artists for the 2019/20 season and recently annouced winners of the prestigious 2019 Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition.

The Annual RV Jones Science Lecture: Dr Adam Rutherford This year's RV Jones Lecture will be given by a familiar face to many at Alleyn’s. It is a pleasure to welcome Dr Adam Rutherford, science writer, broadcaster and ex-Scientist-in-Residence at Alleyn’s, as he delivers this year’s RV Jones Science Lecture: ‘How to Argue with A Racist’.

All are welcome to hear what will be a vital manifesto for a twenty-first century understanding of human evolution and variation, and a timely weapon against the misuse of science to justify bigotry.
