Alleyn's International Concert Series

Jennifer Pike with Martin Roscoe

[image] In demand as soloist and recitalist all over the world, Jennifer is known as an artist of exceptional integrity and depth, whilst her ability to “hold an audience spellbound” (The Strad) and “luminous beauty of tone” (The Observer) have established her as one of the most exciting artists performing today. Since gaining recognition in 2002 when she won the BBC Young Musician of the Year at the age of 12, Jennifer has taken the musical world by storm. She made acclaimed debuts at the BBC Proms and Wigmore Hall three years later, with many subsequent Proms appearances including as 'featured artist', she has been a BBC New Generation Artist, and is the only classical artist to ever win the South Bank Show Times Breakthrough Award.

She is joined by regular duo partner and one of the UKs most respected pianists, Martin Roscoe. In great demand as concerto soloist, chamber musician and recitalist, he has a distinguished discography and is one of the most broadcast pianists on BBC Radio.

With an eclectic programme spanning a range of styles, this promises to be a memorable evening of music-making from these two much loved artists.
