Upper School Bear Pit

27th & 28th January in D1

Thursday 27th January:

Show One: 6.30pm
Midnight An adaptation of one of Russell T. Davies finest Doctor Who episodes. On a distant leisure planet, the Doctor is on holiday, but when a mysterious entity infiltrates the tourist shuttle, no one can be trusted.
Fresh Meat A lively adaptation of Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain’s brilliant comedy of university life.

Friday 28th January:

Show One: 6.30pm

Colder than Here Laura Wade’s funny and poignant testament to family, relationships and finding light even in the darkest of times.
Closer An adaptation of Patrick Marber’s brutal dissection of love and sex – not for the fainthearted!

Show Two: 8.00pm

That’s My Aim Honey Gawn-Hopkins’ terrific new musical takes us back to the golden age of screwball comedy set in a New York newspaper office with glorious original songs.

Some of the plays contain strong language and challenging content and are therefore not recommended for pupils below Year 10.

Seating is unallocated, so it is worth arriving early to bag the best seats. The Bear Pit shows are always very busy so book early to avoid disappointment. As we continue to negotiate COVID restrictions, refreshments will be available before each show, served outside D1.
