The Aronowitz Ensemble


Magnus set up the Aronowitz Ensemble in 2004, with his brother Guy and Tom as founder members. They are former BBC New Generation Artists, and between them they have won National and International competitions including BBC Young Musician of the Year, Scottish International Piano Competition and have been recipients of the Borletti-Buitoni Award and the Royal Society’s Inspiration Award. Magnus has guest led the Orchestra at the Royal Opera House and the Philharmonia amongst others, Guy was recently televised performing the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto at the Proms, and Tom is currently artistic director of the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective who are resident ensemble at London’s Wigmore Hall.

As a trio they have recently recorded Beethoven’s ‘Ghost’ Trio for the King’s College Cambridge label and next season are planning a complete Beethoven trio cycle in the Netherlands and Prague.
